Many of you visiting
this site may be doing so because you, a loved one or a friend has been
diagnosed with cancer. Since there are so many types of cancers this
page will only deal with those related to Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney
cancer) since this disease is very rare, representing only 2-3% of all
cancers. Many of these links can guide you to other types of cancer.
If you are outside the United States you can use a search engine like
google.com to find resources within your country or region.

->“COMFORT
For Those Who Are Hurting” is a resource that has been a life
saver for me. It is a CD that I listen to almost every day during my
rest time. It is a combination of scripture and songs (choruses and
a few hymns) appropriate for those who are hurting. It is produced by
Roby Duke and is available on CD as well as cassette tape. It includes
an inspirational color booklet with the words and scriptures as well
as a background on those involved in the project. This makes an excellent
gift for those who are hurting. I have purchased at least a dozen CD’s
myself just to give to fellow cancer patients and all have mentioned
how soothing and uplifting the CD is. As far as I know it is NOT available
in retail stores.

-> PRICED OUT OF HEALTHCARE? Attention U.S. Citizens who are self-employed,
overseas missionaries or are just priced out. We do not have health
insurance so how have these staggering medical bills been paid for?
Becky and I have been a part of Christian Care Medi-Share since 1995
where Christians (45,000 worldwide) share medical bills up to $5 million.
This is NOT insurance, but a non-profit ministry of mutual care.
We have always
been happy to share in this movement by both helping others and being
helped. During my journey with kidney cancer they have been there every
step of the way to take care my medical bills (with no hassle!) they
have provided encouragement as well. I encourage you to check them out.
