In the course of helping conduct several years of annual evangelistic
medical mission outreaches to the Philippines with Christians in Action,
USA
and Kadena Community Church in Okinawa, Japan since 1991, close to 35,000
people been treated by our volunteer doctors, dentists, nurses and other
health care professionals. Each one has heard the Gospel in their own
language and an average of half of our patients made first-time commitments
to Christ. We have seen many heart-wrenching situations...some we have
been
able to help, some not. Below are articles related to one young lady
-
Maritess Emalon, from Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Her story
will no doubt touch your heart. Besides these stories you can read of
my
last visit with her on the "Trip Report" page.
