Dear Praying Friends,
We are once again
in need of your fervent prayers. A week or so ago I developed a nagging
cough along with general weakness. Not having a cold or allergies I
decided I better have it checked. After talking to USC/Norris on Thursday
they suggested I come down Friday for a chest x-ray, blood tests and
a doctor’s appointment.
More thorough diagnostics
(CT scan, a brain scan and more blood tests) are scheduled for June
7th but here is what we know: one of the larger tumors in my left lung
has grown significantly, causing irritation – thus the cough.
We’ll know more details a week from now when we have further test
results and will fill you in as soon as possible.
There is another
clinical trial (experimental drug) available to me - we are praying
about whether to go ahead with it due to its side effects. At this point
there are no other alternatives.
This comes as no
surprise to God and I know I am His child and am in His loving care.
In the midst of this new development He continues to bless me with an
indescribable inner peace. Thanks for your continued prayers for my
family and me.
